Sunshine Challenge and summer icons

With sunshine_challenge coming soon, there's been a call for icons, and so I thought I'd contribute some!

There are also some general summer icons in here, too.

All the Elementary icons I've made

Wed, 20 May 2020 17:45:29 GMT

Posted by: venusinthenight

Every icon I've ever made for this blog for Elementary, as well as a bunch I made exclusively for the December 2016 round of holmestice that I never shared here (including alternate colourings!). Most icons are 100x100 so optimized for here, Livejournal, and AO3. The pack also includes a small selection of 250x250 icons, more optimized for Tumblr. There is one icon labeled "base" at the end of the file name that you may alter. The rest are not bases and aren't for altering.

The Photobucket "Please Upgrade Now" Thumbnails of Doom are all over this place now.

(Cue Elementary gif of Joan Watson saying, "None of this makes me want to bask.")

I haven't updated this place with new icons in a long time, and at the moment, if I'm honest, I'm not looking forward to doing the arduous task of uploading however many hundreds (if not close to 1000ish?) 100×100 icons to a different space and editing all the posts. So for now: If there are any icon sets you'd like to have, let me know, and I'll put up a zip file somewhere and share the link.

With LJ's new Terms of Service, I have decided to close the LJ version of this comm at the end of the month.

The DW comm will remain.

Murdoch Mysteries 8x04 (100th episode) icons

Mon, 18 Jan 2016 22:45:09 GMT

Posted by: venusinthenight

For her snowflake_challenge Day 2 entry, wherein we could make requests, ragdoll asked for some Murdoch Mysteries icons, particularly William, Julia, and George. This is a newer fandom for me, and I've recently gotten a bit of my icon-making mojo back, so I was more than happy to have a go here. I opted to start with the 100th episode.

While ragdoll's preferred characters are definitely featured, there are also some other regulars in there. :)

UPDATE (January 3, 2025): All icons rehoused after deleting my Photobucket account.

Yet another screencaps update

Mon, 25 Feb 2013 06:25:47 GMT

Posted by: venusinthenight

So Mediafire has killed my account there... which means links to screencap zips I've not replaced don't work.

If you want ones from Elementary, I highly recommend checking out gallicka; they've got every episode capped. 1080. Excellent quality. :)

I'm reuploading my caps from S2 of The Borgias; that will go up in a separate masterpost. Then I shall tackle Top Gear S19.

Screencap downloads

Fri, 22 Feb 2013 05:03:37 GMT

Posted by: venusinthenight

So Mediafire is, slowly but surely, deciding that it doesn't want me to have screencap zip files uploaded to my account anymore. (Or someone has reported them, thereby making Mediafire remove them. Whichever.) They've removed at least six zip files from my account. So far I've replaced three of them; I need to replace three more sets.

This is, needless to say, very annoying.

~~The sets I still need to replace are Elementary 1x01 and 1x03, and The Borgias 2x03.~~ (UPDATE: These have been replaced temporarily.) I seriously hope I don't need to replace any more sets. (That said, I imagine future screencap sets will be uploaded elsewhere.)
